Molly Gratton, LCSW, RPT-S™️

Molly Gratton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist™️ – Supervisor. She is a Registered Clinical Supervisor through the state of Idaho. Molly received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1998 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Life with an emphasis in Juvenile Justice in 1994 from the University of Kansas. Molly has served on the board of directors for the Idaho Play Therapy Association from July 2008 to July 2019. She served as the President from July 2009 through June 2015 and her final four years as Past President and Secretary.

Molly is the founder and owner of Molly and Me Counseling and Training Center.  With over 25 years of experience helping children and their families deal with issues such as trauma, attachment disruptions, loss and grief, divorce, behavioral problems, autism spectrum disorders, depression and anxiety, she is dedicated to enhancing and empowering the lives of the people with whom she works. Molly provides counseling services to children, adolescents and families as well as play therapy training and supervision services to professionals. She has a special love for children who have autism and is certified in AutPlay® Therapy. as well as working with other neurodivergent children.  Molly has extensive specialized training in child-parent relational therapies including Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®.) Molly was trained under Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross, co-authors of “The Connected Child,” in Trust-Based Relational Interventions.

Molly shares, “Utilizing Trust Based Parenting, in combination with Theraplay® (a specialized play therapy modality,) has been a huge asset to my treatment approach with families. I value the power of the parent-child relationship. I am honored to assist families in strengthening this relationship, and I love being a witness to their growth and healing.” A unique treatment plan is created for every child following an initial evaluation where history, symptomology and life stressors are reviewed. Children and adolescents can be seen individually and/or in family therapy. Parents may receive parent education and training on how to provide positive nurturing, structuring, engagement and discipline for their child(ren) while managing difficult and challenging behaviors. At Molly and Me Counseling, it is believed children heal with their loving and nurturing support system in place. Therefore, it is imperative that parents be a part of the healing journey.

Molly is a 2009 graduate of the Association for Play Therapy’s (APT) Leadership Academy. In 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2018 she served as a member of the APT Conference Program Committee; Molly was a member of the Key Awards Committee for the years 2012 through 2015; she served as a member of the APT Public Awareness Task Force in 2013-2014, and in 2014 was a member of the APT State Branch President’s Training Task Force. Molly is a mother to an active teenager and has shared her home, family and love as a foster parent off and on over the last 12 years. Rachel Blick, LCSW, RPT™️

Rachel Blick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist.  She has been a part of the Molly and Me family since 2017 as she began her professional career as a student intern, administrative assistant, and then moved into the mental health therapist role after her graduation from Northwest Nazarene University in 2018.  In 2020, Rachel began supervising other therapists, and she is currently our agency’s Assistant Clinical Director.  She loves being a part of Molly and Me!  Her passion in life is helping others, so naturally, social work was the road for Rachel to embark upon. She realized she wanted to commit herself to the service of helping others when she was a counselor at a residential treatment facility in Billings, MT. It was life-changing to see the hope, trust and empowerment she helped foster in adolescents. At Molly and Me Counseling, she offers individual, family and group therapy.

Rachel has jumped in full force and has committed to herself, her career and to the well being of children and families.  She strives to provide the best service to families who enter Molly and Me Counseling.   She has a special talent and passion for working with children on the Autism Spectrum and holds a specialized certification as an endorsed AutPlay® Therapist.

In Rachel’s free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and her dog children, Kyle and Doug.

Catie Furlong, LCSW

Catie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She was born in Melbourne, Florida, raised in Southern California, and has lived in Boise since 2017. Catie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2021 and also received her Master’s degree from Boise State in 2022. Catie completed her first year internship working with the homeless population in Ada County and her graduate level internship as a behavioral health therapist working with a broad range of clients aging from 4-60. She has begun working on her play therapy certificate and is looking forward to working with children and their families to create a safe, empowering, and expressive environment while at Molly & Me.

Aleks Majkut, LCSW

Aleks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She received her Bachelor degree in Human Services from the City University of New York in 2017, and her Master of Science degree at Boise State University in 2020. Aleks completed her internship at Molly and Me during grad school while working full-time as a substance abuse counselor in a correctional setting. During her grad school internship, Aleks found a passion for working with children and families. She transitioned to Molly and Me after graduating and has been committed to her work with children, adolescents, and families. Aleks utilizes a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. Aleks is also a trained EMDR therapist. She focuses on empowerment and helping individuals work toward positive self-growth.

Aleks grew up in Canada prior to moving to Brooklyn, NY for college. She has been living in Boise for the last 6 years and in her free time likes to enjoy all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter, their two cats, Winston and Frannie, and their two dogs, Ozzy and Mabel. Aleks enjoys snowboarding, hiking, swimming, gardening, and reading. She is very passionate about social justice and often engages in advocacy efforts aimed at promoting fairness and equality.

Emily Withers, LMSW

Emily is a Licensed Master Social Worker and received her degree from Boise State University in May 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies at Utah State University, majoring in Psychology with an emphasis in Family and Human Development. She is currently in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist and has been with Molly and Me Counseling since August 2023. Emily has always had a passion for working with both adults and children. She has worked with the Boys and Girls Club of greater Salt Lake, coached youth soccer, leads a girl scout troop, and has taught Adult Education Language classes for College of Western Idaho for 8 years. Emily has a passion for those experiencing homelessness and has worked, volunteered, and interned with this population since 2018. Emily resides in Boise with her husband and two children. She enjoys being outdoors best and loves hiking, camping, gardening, and playing with her herd of Nigerian dwarf dairy goats, dog, and cat.

Willow Serafine, LMSW

Willow is a Master of Social Work graduate from Boise State University as of May 2025, building upon her B.S. in Psychology which she earned from Boise State in December 2022.

Throughout her academic and professional experiences, Willow has cultivated a deep passion for working with children, and she is particularly interested in the power of play as a therapeutic approach to foster development and healing.

Her previous experience includes working with adolescents in a mental health facility, where she supported them in addresssing trauma, substance abuse, and various mental health challenges. Willow is a dedicated advocate for children and is committed to establishing safe and empowering environments where they can flourish.

Gracie Guerra, LMSW

Gracie earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky in May 2026 after receiving her Bachelor of Social Work from Boise State University in 2025. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Human and Social Services from Walla Walla Community College.

Gracie has always had a passion for working with children and helping them grow, heal, and reach their full potential. Her journey into social work began after taking a Juvenile Justice course at Walla Walla Community College, which sparked her interest in supporting youth and families. As her passion for helping others continued to grow, pursuing a career in counseling became a natural path.

Gracie joined our team as an intern during the 2025–2026 school year and quickly became a valued member of our practice. Through her dedication, compassion, and commitment to her clients, she has grown into a full-time clinician who is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for children and their families.

Outside of the office, Gracie enjoys playing softball, painting, and spending time in or around the water. She loves making people laugh and cherishes time spent with her friends, family, and loved ones.

Wendy Dickinson, MSW Intern

Wendy Dickinson is a graduate student intern dedicated to expanding her clinical practice in play therapy. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she moved to Idaho in 1995, where she and her family have resided ever since.

Wendy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Oklahoma State University (1988) and an Associate’s degree in Studio Art from the College of Western Idaho (2025). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at Northwest Nazarene University, with an expected graduation in December 2027.

Her foundational field experience includes serving the unhoused community through a shelter agency in Boise. As she continues her specialization in play therapy, Wendy remains committed to cultivating a safe, warm, and professional environment that fosters healing and genuine care for children and their families.

Morgan Gaines, MSW Intern

Morgan Gaines is an intern from Boise State University set to graduate in May 2027 with a Master of Social Work. Originally from Oregon, Morgan relocated to Boise in 2022 to complete a Bachelor of Social Work, alongside a minor in Family Studies and certificates in ASL and Addiction Studies. Morgan’s professional background includes service learning with Community School programs, interning with Mana Resources to support Department of Juvenile Corrections (DJC) youth and individuals with disabilities, and working as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy for youth with Autism. Additionally, Morgan completed training as a Certified Peer Mentor for the TRIO Rising Scholars Program, earned a certification in Human Rights, and currently serves as a CBRS and Case Management Provider for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities alongside an internship placement at Molly & Me Counseling.

Through this internship, Morgan aims to expand their knowledge of relational and client-centered approaches in therapy. While previous academic and clinical experiences focused heavily on structured, goal-oriented modalities, shadowing therapists at Molly & Me has highlighted the value of genuine connection, emotional acceptance, and play therapy. With long-term aspirations of supporting foster youth and families, Morgan looks forward to integrating these play therapy techniques into future practice, whether in direct clinical counseling or within the broader child welfare system.

Hopemaria Van Horn, MSW Intern

Hopemaria is our new MSW intern, working under the supervision of Molly Gratton, LCSW, RPT-S™. She graduated from Boise State University in May 2026 with degrees in Social Work and Psychology.

Hopemaria was born into a large family in Portland, Oregon, and moved to the Twin Falls area when she was 12 years old. She later moved to Boise for college and quickly fell in love with the area. She considers the Boise foothills her sanctuary and, in her free time, loves hiking, paddle boarding, biking, and connecting with nature in any way she can.

During her undergraduate studies, Hopemaria developed a deep interest in psychology and became especially fascinated by the way our life experiences shape how we think, feel, relate to others, and behave. She found herself drawn to understanding the “why” behind behavior—how past experiences, relationships, environments, and emotional development can influence how people navigate the world.

As she explored how to turn that interest into a career helping others, Hopemaria discovered that social work offered both a direct path into the mental health field and a broader, whole-person approach that aligned with how she wanted to work with clients. Combining her backgrounds in psychology and social work has given her a strong foundation for understanding both individual behavior and the larger systems and experiences that influence a person’s development.

Hopemaria is excited to be part of Molly & Me Counseling and Training Center, where she hopes to make a meaningful impact during the early stages of development and help create positive changes that children (and their families) can carry with them throughout their lives. She looks forward to continuing her work in the mental health field after completing her MSW program.
