Molly shares, “Utilizing Trust Based Parenting, in combination with Theraplay® (a specialized play therapy modality,) has been a huge asset to my treatment approach with families. I value the power of the parent-child relationship. I am honored to assist families in strengthening this relationship, and I love being a witness to their growth and healing.” A unique treatment plan is created for every child following an initial evaluation where history, symptomology and life stressors are reviewed. Children and adolescents can be seen individually and/or in family therapy. Parents may receive parent education and training on how to provide positive nurturing, structuring, engagement and discipline for their child(ren) while managing difficult and challenging behaviors. At Molly and Me Counseling, it is believed children heal with their loving and nurturing support system in place. Therefore, it is imperative that parents be a part of the healing journey.

Meridian Supervisor
Meghan Nadzam, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, and a Minor in Play Therapy. I specialize in working with children, couples, and families in improving their relationships and increasing awareness of their full potential.
My approach to counseling comes from a holistic, Gestalt-focused philosophy. The word Gestalt comes from the German word meaning “shape” or “form.” Gestalt therapy is an approach to counseling that focuses on the link that people have to their environment and that we strive toward growth and balance through enhancing awareness, freedom, and self-direction. This approach helps to balance mental, physical, and emotional well-being by increasing awareness of the present. To accompany this modality, I incorporate Child-Centered Play Therapy with children and teenagers. Play Therapy is an approach to counseling that utilizes play to enter the emotional world of the child and unlock their capability to direct their own process. A child’s play is a way for them to communicate with adults, such as a therapist, about their inner thoughts and feelings; play is their language and toys are their words.
My goal in counseling is to help clients develop the appropriate skills to face life’s challenges while creating healthy and meaningful relationships. When one can accomplish their goals, the possibilities are endless.
